I took a great Pranayama and meditation class from Andrea Curry (my friend and our resident yoga teacher) last night. One particular meditation that we did involved inhaling down the front of the body and exhaling up the back of the body. While Andrea didn't get into a detailed discussion about the chakras and energy, I definitely felt that this work helped open my chakras from tail to head in a very powerful way.
We sat with that for 10 minutes and I felt the same familiar hand warmth and energy radiance as I do when sitting in gassho ...
