I think we all have accepted the fact that cash may not always be the optimum form of payment. Sometimes people don't have enough, sometimes you may want to try to upsell them to a larger discounted package of Reiki treatments, and let's face it - accepting credit/debit cards is safer than checks.
Most banks offer credit card services and will lease or sell you the gear such as an epson receipt printer. Another way to go is to bill people via a service like Paypal, where you never have to see the credit card at all.
